So I had gone to Faltoversten – a popular mall here in Stockholm for a haircut. The lady hair dresser was clearly inexperienced and not used to dealing with thick, curly hair. The result looked like a hot mess as if I had taken my dad’s moustache trimmer and had a go at my locks.
Anyway, every cloud has a silver lining – while paying my bill and leaving , I was given free samples of the morrocon oil leave in intense curl and decided to try it over the coming week to see if it could help tame my curls.
Lo and behold – the Product worked like a Dream. The Cream is light and beautifully fragranced – that is not what sells the Product for me however. The hold is just right –leaving the hair not too hard nor too fluffy. My curls were well defined (I have type 2b curls if that helps).
I used a generous amount and applied the Product from root to tip. I then scrunched up each lock individually . To finish off I applied a bit of hair spray just to help retain the shape over the course of the rainy day – and it was great. The curls held their own against some pretty windy weather and still had some fragrance by the end of the evening.
Do note that the curls do not last overnight so I usually need to “refresh” them by rinsing my hair out again and reapplying the Product. I am reseraching ways to maintain the look overnight and will do a post on my recommendations soon.
Needless to say, I Went out and purchased a full size bottle of the intense curl Cream and that is saying something since I have been on a spending hiatus of sorts for the past few months (more on that in the coming blogs :D).
