Update: DIY Apple Cider Vinegar & Thyme Toner

Alright, so I have been using the DIY ACV & Thyme toner for a month now.

I’ve noticed that during the first week or two, there was a very mild stinging/burning sensation when I put this toner on my face. It lasted for like 10-15 seconds, no more. People with drier/very sensitive skin may want to take a note of this.

The toner is very effective at keeping down any redness and inflammation. It also reduces oiliness. However, I seem to be seeing a little dryness/itchiness along my hairline which I just keep scratching.

I make sure to use tiny bit of moisturiser (Cetaphil or Avene) on the itchy parts.

Other than this, so far so good! ๐Ÿ˜€

lovely! have you heard of steeping rosemary in water to use to dilute the acv? could give it a try if thyme isn’t quite doing it for you!

Be careful if you’re using apple cider vinegar on your skin. It can strip away your moisture barrier and you need that in order to keep away infections.
